1. Our Commitment

Skydeca is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

We strive to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review and test our platform with assistive technologies, conduct accessibility audits, and incorporate accessibility into our development process.

2. Accessibility Features

Our platform includes the following accessibility features:

2.1 Visual Accessibility

3. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we acknowledge some current limitations:

  • User-Uploaded Content: Content uploaded by users may lack captions or alternative text. We provide AI-generated transcripts, but these may contain errors, especially for specialized terminology, multiple speakers, or non-English content.
  • Tag Maps: Our visual Tag Map feature has limited screen reader support. We are actively working on improvements to provide a fully accessible text-based alternative.
  • Legacy Content: Some older content on the platform may not meet current accessibility standards. We are prioritizing updates to these areas.
  • Third-Party Services: External services (payment processing, authentication providers) have their own accessibility implementations that we do not control.

4. Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our platform is designed to work with:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software (Dragon, Voice Control)
